Details This award recognises the individual or organisation that has shown the most innovative approach towards the installation of small scale, embedded renewable energy systems. Applicants are welcome from private individuals with their own domestic installations or from an individual on behalf of an organisation. Nevertheless it is recognised that some projects may be the result of a team effort.

Criteria Summary - Which technology or combination of technologies was used in your project and why? (E.g. Solar thermal, Solar photovoltaic, Micro-wind, Micro-hydro, Ground/air source heat pumps, Biomass, Anaerobic Digestion.) - What was the innovative approach of your project and why? (E.g. The positioning of the installation, contribution to on-site or third party energy needs, source(s) of funding or investment, publicity and promotion of the benefits to stakeholders, justification used, for example to address business criteria, local agendas, community/planning issues.)
